After Parts 1, 2, and 3-we move on to part 4. I mercifully managed to waltz right on through a lot of the inside section of the zoo for a couple of reasons-it was absolutely freezing in there and there were snakes. To remind you of why I hate snakes, here's a clue from popular culture:
Thanks Indy (Indiana Jones) for that clarification as to why they're scary. Now, for the pictures I did take:
Note that there are 2 snakes in there-also note the size of the rattler. That may explain why I was basically running as I took this picture:
Seriously, let a horse charge me and I'm cool as a cucumber. Show me a snake, even a baby snake picture and I freeze in fear.
Moving on to things with fur:
We stopped by and saw the grey wolf curled up waiting for breakfast as we headed towards the large cats and desert area:
We took a short stroll through the cactus garden:
Then we moved on to my favorite part of the tour-the ocelot. We had read online that the ocelot had had 2 babies and I was excited to see them! The ocelot was gorgeous as always:
They had a nice little sign announcing the 2 baby ocelots. I wish it had had their names on the sign, but since they had do not disturb up there, they probably didn't want a zillion people calling their names as they walked by.
Here they are curled up in a tree branch:
I could just hug this ocelot(probably not the best idea, but it's so cute!):
Thanks for stopping by, please check out my other parts that are linked at the top and follow along as I finish up my tour with the large cats.
